The Teacher Project

Five young teachers are recruited right out of grad school to revive a high school in the tiny, anything-but-idyllic town of Pronghorn, Oregon. Coming from all walks of life, the new teachers only have one thing in common, they don’t know what they were in for. Ranchers, farmers, and members of an unconventional commune all have their opinions on how the teachers should do their jobs. Loretta Lazarus, the quirky volunteer principal / local real estate agent keeps everyone on their toes as she comes up with one scheme after the next to save the school. The five intrepid educators work together to pool their strengths, stretching their skills and patience to the limits. There, in between pep rallies and piles of papers to grade, alliances are forged and lifetime friendships are made. Can love be far behind?
